Our Wills and Estates lawyer Marcia Green will be speaking at an upcoming Health and Wellness Seminar hosted by the National Institute of Jamaican-Canadians (NIJC) and other organizations from the Caribbean Community on the “Legalities of Care Giving”. The event will take place on Saturday April 12, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., at 233 Gilmour Street.

The organizations involved are dedicated to the promotion and advancement of improved health among people of all ages in the Ottawa area, and include the National Institute of Jamaican-Canadians (NIJC), the Racially Visible Action Committee (RVAC), the Trinidad & Tobago Association of Ottawa (TTAO), the Jamaica (Ottawa) Community Association (JOCA), Jaku Konbit, the Guyanese Association, and St Vincent and the Grenadines Ottawa Association (SVGOA).

The NIJC Health and Wellness Seminar will address the following topics:

  • Legalities of Care Giving
  • Elder Abuse & Awareness
  • Strengthening our Aging Community
  • Youth and Mental Health
