Nelligan O’Brien Payne’s Intellectual Property Group is hiring a Patent Agent (Permanent Position). We are a multi-service law firm with 60 lawyers, and have an immediate need for a Patent Agent with approximately five years’ experience.

The candidate we seek has significant skills and experience working in the patent area, has strong management skills with the ability to supervise patent trainees, is enthusiastic about this practice area, has strong interpersonal and marketing skills, and is keen to join a mid-size law firm environment. Working knowledge and qualification in other intellectual property protections is not essential but would be an asset. Occasional travel may be required. Bilingualism would be favourably considered but is not essential.
