This year, the International Trademark Association (INTA) will be holding its136th Annual Meeting in Hong Kong from May 10 to May 14. This is the trademark industry’s premier event of the year, with over 8,500 attendees from over 140 countries anticipated, and this will be the first time the event is held in Asia.

The program will include a Focus on Asia track that will focus on the Asian market and opportunities to be found there, as well as education on hot topics such as generic top-level domains (gTLDs), the Madrid Protocol and Social Media It will also provide exciting opportunities to network with intellectual property professionals from around the world.

Reflecting our group’s commitment to our local and global clients, two of our intellectual property professionals, lawyer Wing Yan and consultant Taiji Yoshino, will be in attending the five day event, bringing the cutting-edge knowledge they learn back with them.
