Employment lawyer Stephanie Lewis will be speaking alongside Juliet Knapton of the Immigration and Refugee Board on Managing Unconscious Bias at this year’s Law Needs Feminism Because 2018 National Forum on March 3, 2018.
Law Needs Feminism Because is a forum that hopes to, “shine greater light on the ways that systems of power and privilege intersect to deprive marginalized and under-represented communities of their ability to create, shape and transform the legal institutions that govern them“. This year’s forum will be held on Saturday, March 3rd at the University of Ottawa and be on the theme of access to justice.
Stephanie’s presentation on Managing Unconscious Bias will be part of a full-day workshop session. Check out the list of workshops here.
