Skiing accidents

Outdoor activities, such as skiing or snowboarding, have inherent risks. As a result, many individuals suffer serious injuries as a result of a skiing accident.

Skiing and snowboarding accidents are often caused by either the ski resort, another individual, or malfunctioning equipment. The ski resort company or organization may have mismanaged the resort/slopes. Accidents can also occur when other individuals participating in the same or similar activity collide into you. Lastly, ski and snowboard accidents can occur because your equipment has malfunctioned. If your equipment has malfunctioned, then you may eligible to bring forward a product liability claim.

Typical snow-related injuries include, but are not limited to:

  • Concussions and head injuries;
  • Broken bones;
  • Fractures;
  • Shoulder injuries; and
  • Knee injuries.
