Paul Taylor-Sussex is the librarian at Nelligan O’Brien Payne LLP. He provides research assistance to the firm’s lawyers and articling students, helping them to locate relevant case law, legislation and commentary. Working with the firm’s Director of Research, he oversees a large collection of key legal texts, law journals, reference material, and online databases. Paul is also administrator of an in-house knowledge management database, which contains over twelve thousand legal papers, precedents and memoranda.
Paul has worked in a number of academic and legal libraries, including in the United Kingdom and Australia.
In addition to his work in the library, Paul provides writing support to the social media team. He is responsible for the firm’s online staff profiles, and also writes and edits material for Nelligan O’Brien Payne’s associated social media sites.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys music, playing guitar, reading and creative writing. He also loves to travel and spend time with his young family.
