He is fluently bilingual and represents his clients in both official languages, including French language hearings.

Sean is a past-president of l’Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario. He is also active in teaching union seminars, lawyer continuing education, and has taught the Canada Labour College Annual Labour Law course for many years. Sean was also selected to be included in the 2006 to 2019 editions of The Best Lawyers in Canada in the practice areas of labour and employment law. He was also selected as a leading practitioner in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory in the 2011-2015 editions.

He strives to work with people not only to solve an existing problem, but also to come up with strategies to avoid future issues and build towards their goals. Sean hopes this way to be involved with clients in an on-going capacity. He also loves the creative side of his work and finding unusual approaches to solving problems, particularly when it seems there is no straight line.

Outside of the office, Sean’s major interest is music. He plays regular gigs with two different bands, and even does recording in his home studio. He also plays in the Nelligan’s band.

Sean is on the Board of Directors of Orkidstra, a not-for-profit organization that empowers kids from under-served communities by teaching life skills through the universal language of music.
