Avery is passionate about helping people navigate the often daunting legal system.
She approaches clients in difficult legal and social situations with empathy and compassion, and views her role as an advocate as to help her clients tell their stories. While being a self-professed people-person, Avery also enjoys the intellectual side of the law. She jumps at any opportunity to reason through complex legal questions, while striving to provide her clients with practical solutions.
Before pursuing a career in the law, Avery managed both clinical research studies for the emergency department research group and quality improvement projects for the research institute at a local children’s hospital. She brings her knowledge of the health system and her project management skills to her legal practice.
When Avery is not practicing law, you can find her enjoying the great outdoors. She is an avid runner, swimmer, and cyclist, and enjoys spending her long weekends backcountry camping with friends and family.
