Erin MacDonald is an Associate lawyer on our Family Law team.

She supports clients through every stage of their family law matters, from drafting domestic agreements to navigating mediation or litigation. She is a strong courtroom advocate and works tirelessly to ensure her clients feel heard and protected throughout the legal process. Erin is respected for her ability to balance assertive representation with empathy, helping clients work through emotionally charged issues with clarity and care.

Erin holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and Sociology, with a specialization in Criminology, from the University of Waterloo. She earned her law degree from the University of New Brunswick in 2022 and was called to the bar in 2023. Her legal career began with a focus on criminal law, providing her with a strong foundation in advocacy and client representation.

A Hamilton native, Erin has long been passionate about access to justice. Before attending law school, she worked with the John Howard Society, supporting individuals and families impacted by the criminal justice system. This early experience continues to shape her thoughtful, client-focused approach in her family law practice.

Outside the office, Erin enjoys staying active through sports and relaxing with her two dogs.
