Nuwanthi is an associate lawyer at Nelligan Law and a member of our Estates Group.

Before joining Nelligan Law, Nuwanthi was a partner at a law firm in Toronto where she practiced estate litigation, estate planning and administration. She also practiced civil litigation coming from a background of civil litigation in another commonwealth jurisdiction for 14 years. She is also a former member of the Consent and Capacity Board. She has been a volunteer at Pro Bono Law Ontario (PBLO) for a number of years advising clients both in the Superior Court and the Small Claims Court.

Nuwanthi is passionate about her chosen area of the law because she enjoys advising and navigating clients through their estate plans with empathy, understanding and care.

During her free time, Nuwanthi enjoys the theatre, concerts and reading. Everyone who knows Nuwanthi will get to know about her son and her cat, Tiberius.
