NOP attending 2017 Fundica Roadshow in Ottawa at CollabSpace!

Reading Time: 1 minutes

Members of Nelligan O’Brien Payne’s Business Law and Intellectual Property groups will be attending the 2017 Fundica Roadshow in Ottawa on March 24, 2017.

At the event, local entrepreneurs will get a chance to learn from and be inspired by some of the brightest investors, growth experts, and successful individuals in Canada.

A select group of early stage innovators will also get a chance to pitch their business to a panel of angels, VCs, banks, and government organizations for prizes and funding.

The event will be held at CollabSpace, an incubator-inspired co-working facility in Ottawa, Ontario that gives owners of start-ups and established small businesses a place to work in a professional environment, amongst a community of collaborative, growth-oriented peers.

Adam Tracey, an IP lawyer, patent and trademark Agent with NOP’s IP group, will be presenting on the topic of “IP Legal Tips for Tech Startups” at 1:30pm and 3:30pm.

Also attending will be Taiji Yoshino from our Intellectual Property Group, and Craig O’Brien from the Business Law Group.

Hope to see you there!
