Rhian Foley is an associate lawyer with Nelligan Law and a member of our employment, labour, and litigation law groups.
She joined Nelligan Law as a summer student in 2020 and completed her articles with the firm in 2022 before returning as an associate.
Rhian is committed to helping her clients navigate the complex legal system and ensuring that they have the knowledge they need to make informed decisions. Rhian is approachable and empathetic, and she enjoys working with her clients to find solutions that work for them.
Rhian obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa. During law school, she worked at a Community Legal Clinic, as a Research Assistant, and was the Research Chair of the uOttawa Chapter of the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers.
Rhian is originally from Newfoundland and lived all over Canada before moving to Ottawa. Outside of work, Rhian can be found doing activities like cross-country skiing, rock climbing, running, and swimming.
