About our program

At Nelligan Law, we believe your articling experience should be a supportive and meaningful start to your professional journey, helping you explore and shape the direction of your career.

We’re proud to offer a rewarding articling program focused on your growth and development as you move toward your Call to the Bar. Our program is designed to give students meaningful, hands-on experience and the practical skills needed to confidently transition into practice.

Choosing where to article is a big decision, and we recognize that the recruitment process is a two-way street. We want to ensure that our firm is the right fit for your goals, interests, and working style. We encourage you to learn about who we are, ask questions, and bring your authentic self to every step of the process.

Why Choose Nelligan Law?

At Nelligan Law, we know the legal world can be fast-paced, and we want your articling year to feel supportive, not overwhelming. We work hard to create an environment where students feel welcomed and encouraged.

Students are encouraged to attend practice group meetings, where teams dive into real legal developments, challenging files, and law firm operations. They’re designed to help you see how lawyers and support staff collaborate in real practice.

Our program is structured to give you a well-rounded, hands-on experience. As part of your year with us, you’ll have access to:
