- Running

- I can remember the lyrics to almost any song I listen to more than three times. Sadly, I am incapable of carrying a tune.

- While an interest in constitutional issues brought me to law school, my love of contract law, work experiences, and several academic, personal, and professional mentors changed my trajectory.
What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?
- I am happiest doing anything outdoors – running, hiking, cycling or skiing!
Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
- I love to paint nature scenes – I think some of my paintings are still hanging up at my high school. I have always had an artistic side, but most people do not know that about me.

- Empathetic, diligent, and terrible sense of direction.
What did I want to be when I grew up?
- An artist, author, or scientist (according to a recently discovered list I made around that age).

Labour and Employment LawWhat are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?
- When I’m not working, I’m happiest outside. I love to canoe and hike in the summer. I also enjoy playing basketball and tennis. In the winter, I love to ski – both downhill and cross country. I am also very happy reading!
What are some causes you care about?
- I care about organizations working to create a more just and equitable society. In Ottawa, there many incredible organizations doing important work, including Capital Rainbow Refuge and the First Nations Child & Family Caring Society. Outside of work, I volunteer as a tutor with Nunavut Sivuniksavut, which provides post-secondary learning experiences to Inuit youth.
Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
- Not sure if it is a skill or a talent, but I am a great Boggle player.
