Sam is a graduate in law from the University of Leicester and has practiced in Ontario since 2019.
A member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, his focus is on medical negligence and personal injury.
He has extensive experience in family practice and urgent care medicine in Kingston and Ottawa. He taught in the Departments of Family Medicine and of Community Health and Epidemiology at Queen’s University, where he was a full Professor, and served as Director of the Centre for Health Services and Policy Research at Queen’s for a decade before moving to a medical executive position at the Canadian Medical Association.
Outside work activities he is passionate about Alpine skiing and enjoys cycling, kayaking, reading good thrillers, and travel.
