Barwin Fertility Case – The Many Ways People Have Been Affected

The alleged actions of fertility doctor Norman Barwin have affected countless individuals and families across Canada.

Nelligan O’Brien Payne first commenced a class action against Dr. Barwin in 2016, alleging numerous errors in his fertility practice, including that he used his own sperm to impregnate women during fertility treatment at his clinic. Peter Cronyn and Frances Shapiro Munn are representing the plaintiffs in the class action.

Since we began this class action proceeding, the cases involving Dr. Barwin’s own DNA have attracted significant attention in the media. However, the vast majority of people who have contacted us fall into other categories.
