Colin’s career has been devoted to finding effective solutions for clients facing complex legal questions.

Colin is an experienced civil litigation advocate whose practice focuses on professional liability claims against lawyers, engineers, architects, school officials and healthcare providers. He has extensive experience in handling claims of institutional sexual abuse. When the stakes are high and the issues are complex, Colin’s clients can always count on his guidance and advice to help them make tough decisions.

Colin has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in Canada for his work in insurance law in from 2020 to 2023. Colin enjoys the strategic aspects of law and the interaction with his clients. He always maintains focus on the “big picture” and keeps the end result in mind throughout the legal process. He is honest, straightforward and dedicated to his client’s interests.

Colin is entrusted by his clients to handle a wide variety of sensitive, complex and high profile cases that require a balancing of reputational, business and other interests in the litigation process. Outside of work, Colin is proud to be on the Board of Directors of the Eastern Ontario/Québec Better Business Bureau. He is also active in teaching and speaking on insurance matters and advocacy skill through a variety of programs sponsored by the Advocates Society, the Law Society of Ontario and the Carleton County Law Association, among others.

Colin spends his downtime in the winter months snowmobiling throughout Eastern Ontario and beyond, while he is an avid motorcyclist during the warmer months.
